Comp-Tech Enterprise Earns Designation As Comptia ASC

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2005--The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) today announced that Comp-Tech Enterprise (Comp-Tech), a provider of information technology (IT) solutions and support, is the first association member in Singapore to earn the designation of CompTIA Authorized Service Center (CompTIA ASC).

"The CompTIA ASC program is a seal of approval that signifies a service center has achieved an industry recognized level of competence," said John Venator, President and Chief Executive Officer, CompTIA. To qualify as a CompTIA ASC, at least 50 percent of the service center's technicians must hold CompTIA A+ certification. This vendor-neutral certification is recognized internationally as a credential that validates the knowledge of computer service technicians on a broad range of hardware and software technologies.

Comp-Tech has more than a decade of support and repair experience supporting major brands; as well as customers in industries such as financial services, education, manufacturing, trading, retailing, and uniform organizations. CompTIA certification programs are the recognized industry standards for a broad range of IT skills. These certifications validate an IT professional's technical expertise.
